We love collaboration, and there is no better example of that in our portfolio than KB Benefits. Chelsea Barlow, a founding partner at KB, has been our group benefits provider since our inception. When she left her previous employer to start KB, we were excited to create a complete branding package for them.
There isn't a more tired, traditional industry than the insurance business. Branding is often an afterthought, and innovation in the space only seeks to redefine banality. Chelsea and her business partner Dan Wickham wanted to put forward a disruptive brand that was clean, clear and client focused. Unlike most other insurance providers that look to collect contracts, KB is an active partner in their clients' (and our) business with constant updates and attention.
Our approach was simple, do exactly the opposite of what everyone else is doing. Since that's what workspace usually does on project work anyway, this project quickly became one of our favourites.
